If you are a Linte customer, or just visit our site, this policy applies to you.
Our responsibilities
If you are a registered Linte customer or a visitor to our site, we act as the data controller of personal data. This means we determine how and why your data is processed.
Your responsibilities
If you are just a visitor to our site, know that we do not collect any personal data before you request to speak with one of our specialists. We use the privacy analytics tool Hotjar to measure the site in a completely anonymous way.
From the moment you request to speak with one of our specialists, we begin collecting data. Sometimes you provide us with data, sometimes data about you is collected automatically.

Data protection law means we can only use your data for certain reasons and when we have a legal basis to do so. Here are the reasons why we process your data:

You can choose not to give us personal data If you make this choice, you can continue using the website and browsing its pages, but we will not be able to process transactions without personal data.
You can disable cookies in your browser by changing your settings You can block cookies by activating a setting in your browser that allows you to refuse cookies. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, you can continue to use Linte, but some services will not work efficiently.
You can ask us not to use your data for marketing We will inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for marketing and whether third parties are involved. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications by sending an email to help@linte.com.

We will provide you with the information within one month of your request, unless this adversely affects the rights and freedoms of third parties (for example, another person's confidentiality or intellectual property rights). We will let you know if we cannot meet your request for this reason.
You have the right to have us correct any inaccurate personal data about you
You can object to the use of your data to profile you or make automated decisions about you. We may use your data to determine whether we should inform you about information that may be relevant to you (for example, personalizing emails to you based on your behavior). Otherwise, the only circumstances in which we will do this will be to provide the Linte service to you.
You have the right to port your data to another service We will provide a copy of your data in CSV or JSON so you can give it to another service. If you ask us and it is technically possible, we will transfer the data directly to the other service for you. We will not do so to the extent that this involves disclosing data about any other individual.
You have the right to be "forgotten" by us You can do this by requesting that we delete any personal data we hold about you, if it is no longer necessary for us to keep the data for the purposes of using Linte.
You have the right to make a complaint about the use of your data Let us know first, so we have the chance to address your concerns.
We have physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and protect the information we collect.

The personal data we collect is stored mainly on our Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform servers in the USA. As we are a remote company, we process data in the countries where we live (including: Brazil).
By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storage or processing by us. If we transfer or store your information outside the USA or Brazil in this way, we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected as described in this Privacy Policy.
We will archive and stop actively using any personally identifiable information about you within 6 months from the last time you used Linte. We will delete your personal data from our archives within 6 years from the last time you used Linte or as agreed with you in a separate contract.
Technology companies often use third parties to help them host their applications, communicate with customers, power their emails, etc. We partner with third parties that we believe are the best in their field at what they do.
When we do this, it is sometimes necessary for us to share your data with them so that these services work well. Your data is shared only when strictly necessary and in accordance with the safeguards and good practices detailed in this Privacy Policy. When personal data is transferred to third parties in the United States, we take steps to ensure that we agree to standard contractual clauses with them. We continuously monitor this transfer mechanism. Any data transfers to the USA are encrypted and generally consist of non-sensitive personal data.
Cookies
We do not use cookies on visitors. We use Hotjar to measure our site in a completely anonymous way. When you interact with Linte as a user, we (and these third parties) issue cookies, unless you adjust your browser settings to refuse them. These may be 'session' cookies, which means they delete themselves automatically when you leave Linte, or 'persistent' cookies which do not delete themselves and help us recognize you when you return, so we can provide a personalized service.
How can I block cookies? You can block cookies by activating a setting in your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. If you use your browser settings to disable, reject or block cookies (including essential cookies), some parts of our site will not work fully. In some cases, our site may not be accessible. Please note that when third parties use cookies, we have no control over how those third parties use those cookies.
